I'm not going to repost those here with the exception of those most frequently used in search strings. These are questions I have been asked or have been entered as search strings in the search engines,
I have modified them slightly for spelling and punctuation.
The best ways to find answers about the game are read the Farm Town User Guide, read the guides and search the Farm Town Forum, or just ask another player. Go to the Marketplace, the Inn, or the Real Estate Office and ask the question, you will usually get an answer from someone. Someone else may have a better answer for you than I do.

I have been hired some and it said something about getting like 50% of what I assume is the harvesting price. How do you do that and does that mean that the person hiring will get more money??
Hey, I am now on level 27, with all 8 trophies and 15 neighbours.I am interesting in some info about trees. I noticed you stated the levels when you can unlock each tree but the only trees I have unlocked are Pine, Apple, Orange, and Lemon. How do I unlock my other trees?

Can I move a tree in Farm Town?
Left click on the tree and choose move from the menu it will follow your mouse pointer place it where you want it and left click again. You can do this to move any other objects or animals.
How do you change your character's name on Farm Town?
On the Farm Town Menu choose Account, it will open the account page and you can make changes there.
How do I link someone to my farm in Farm Town?
Add them to your Buddies List. If they are Face Book friends they will be on your My Neighbors page from the Farm Town Menu. Add them as a Neighbor. Send them a PM and there will be an Icon on the message to get to your farm. Note that PM's are temporary since the list only keeps the last ten messages you have received.
How to speed up the Farm Town game?
There are many things that will impact the speed of the game. The capabilities of your PC, the amount of RAM available, your graphics card, how clean and healthy your operating system is, the amount of apps you have running on your system, the amount of browser windows or tabs open, your browser cache, your Flash cache, and your preference settings on Farm Town are a few of the most common things. There is a lot of good information available on the Farm Town forum to help with these issues.
How do you stand on the barrels in Farm Town?
Walk over to the barrels and double click on a barrel. It takes a little practice at first. Go to the Marketplace in off line mode and practice getting up on them, that way you won't look like a spaz to everyone else. :>)
How many experience points to the next level on Farm Town?
It depends on your level and the amount of points you currently have. Check the Experience Points table on the Farm Addicts Facts page.
How long does it take rice to grow in Farm Town?
Rice is a two day crop, a Farm Town day is 20 hours. All the crop information is on the Farm Addicts Facts page.
The best crops now are Onion for three days, Peas for two days, and Cabbage for one Day. The next best would be Sunflower for three days, Rice for two days, and Potato for one day. Some good money can be made in one day with Grapes but it is a lot of work.
How to become apprentice visitor in Farm Town?
To make the Apprentice Visitor you need to make 25 visits to friends. Click on your Trophies icon on the game tools menu at the bottom of the screen for more information on trophies.
How can I speed up my crops on Farm Town?
Fertilizer is not available on the game yet, so unless you can fold time like Jabba the Hut :>) ,there is no way to speed up crops.
Land sizes are unlocked at different levels in the game. See the tables on the Farm Addicts Facts page for the levels needed and the cost for the upgrade.
Click the square icon with the two arrows on the game toolbar just above the two magnifying glass icons.
How to change the time on Farm Town?
I don't know of anyway the game time can be changed, you can change your time zone in the Forum from your user Control Panel but I don't believe it will change the game time.

How do you get experience points on Farm Town?
There are several ways to gain experience points. You get points for tending friend's and neighbor's farms, buying items from the store, and upgrading your land size. For more on this check the tables on the Farm Addicts Facts page.
How do I clear plots in Farm Town?
Left click on the plot and choose delete from the menu and then confirm the choice or use the bulldozer from the tools menu. Use care with the bulldozer as it can and will delete items you don't want deleted. I blasted a two day old Pumpkin field by mistake once.
How to get fields closer on Farm Town?
Open your Preferences from the mini tool bar at the top right (wrench icon) and check Remove Space Between Fields. This is most likely the safest method. There are other ways to tighten your crops check the Farm Addicts Tips & Tricks page for more on the other methods.
How to fix graphics Farm Town?
Try unchecking Smooth Graphics in your Preferences Menu. See the question above on how to speed up the game for more on what can impact the game.
How to gain experience points fast on Farm Town?
Spend a lot of time on the game. Visit and tend friend's and neighbor's farms. Plow and plant short growth crops. Grapes are good for this if you have the time to devote to that plowing and planting. You can grow five fields on each plot in one day.
Avatars don't run. If you are zoomed out on your screen and instruct your Avatar to walk somewhere it will move slowly, zoom in on the screen to speed up their movement to a faster walk. How fast the game is running at the time will have some impact on the speed of the Avatar's movement.
How long before crops go bad on Farm Town?
Crops will go to waste in approximately the same amount of time it takes for them to mature. See the Grow Times table on the Farm Addicts Facts page for the times.
How to hire each other Farm Town?
Left click on their Avatar and choose Hire To Work at Your Farm, if they agree to work for you then choose the option to go with them to your farm. Once you both arrive at your farm then they can click on your Avatar to hire you and then they should not choose the option to go with you. Then you can both harvest at the same time. You can also wait until they are done harvesting for you then hire you and both go to their farm. This is a good way if you both want to chat while harvesting.
No, I'm afraid that is just a glitch in the game that has not been fixed yet. Harvesters get 25% of the sell price for the crops harvested, the seller still gets the same as normal.
The only trees available for purchase are Pine, Apple, Orange, and Lemon. The rest are unlocked for sending as gifts as you reach certain levels.
Can you ask a neighbor to harvest your crops when they are not online?
You can send them a PM and they will get it when they log on to the game. I have had some send me an IM when they can see me online but not on the game. You could also send a message from your Face Book account.
Can you change the order of your neighbors?
The only way do move neighbors on your Neighbor Bar is to remove them and then add them again. This will place them in the first area of your Neighbor Bar. A lot of work for both sides but the only way to do it. Be sure to let them know ahead why you are going to remove them.
Stupid question - do the animals eat the crops?
There are no stupid questions. Right now the animals are ornamental only. In the future they may begin to cause crop damage, need to be fed and watered, and produce products for harvest and sale eg eggs, milk. and wool. I read where the chicks will grow into chickens. These will all be part of future releases of the game if they happen at all.
You can only delete one item at a time, this is to keep people from accidently deleting the wrong items. You should only want to delete fields, everything else can be sold.
Yes they are credited for the harvest. When they reload their farm the crops will be gone with harvested fields left. All the harvested crops will be in the storage bin.

Land sizes are unlocked as you reach a level where it is available. Land is purchased from the Real Estate Office. Click on the map icon and you will see the link it there.
Your avatar is the farm town character (person). Just left click on someone and a menu will pop up with several options. To hire someone you click on them and choose 'Hire to work on your farm' from the menu, this will send a hire request to them. They can accept or decline, if they accept you will get a message box with two options. Send them to your farm to harvest while you run errands or do other things or go to your farm with them.
Do crops increase in value the longer you keep them in storage?
No, crops do not increase in value while kept in storage. They do increase in value when put into storage.
If I ignore someone who is on my farm does that take away their power to harvest?
The ignore function blocks the player from your view, you will not see them or their conversations while they remain on your blocked list. There is no way to fire a worker from your farm.
If I buy the second farm am I starting all over again?
No, the second farm is an addition to your first farm. Your coins and XP are shared with both farms.
How do I move items between farms?
Place the items in storage, go to the next farm, remove and place the items.
