Farm Manager Page
Uncle Joe's FarmTown Farm Manager

Because of the high demand for the 5.0 version I have rebuilt the Farm Manager in 5.0/95.
This version is for MS Excel 9.0

This is a brief explanation of the workbook, what is in it, what it does, and how to get started.
This version does not use macros. The sheets are protected to allow for easier navigation with the tab and enter keys, this will also keep users from accidentally deleting formulas. This sheet is the only one with a password needed to unprotect the other sheets can be opened without a password.
For this HTML version I have entered fictitious numbers for the experience points, coins, farm cash, fields and other data for display on the web site. The Farm 1 link is the actual link to my farm.
The last game update was the largest so far and there is some data I do not have at this time. The cells on the Data sheet are unlocked so the updates can be made when the new data is known.
You will need to make the changes on the Data sheet as the information becomes available. I will post the new data on the web site first and make a note on the farm manager page when new data is there to update the workbook.
The workbook now has support for two farms and farm cash. The inventory sheet has columns for assigning items to each farm to track the
investments and value of each farm. If you have questions or problems send me an email from the farm manager page.
 Farm Info Sheet
The only fields required for the crop calculators to work are Coins and Fields. In order for the calculators to function as designed these two fields must be updated as the values on your farm change. The rest is optional but handy to have.
The Level and Experience points will allow the points needed and next level fields to work. You can track how many points are needed to reach the next level and it will display the next level number.
Farmer Name and Farm name will display your farm name and the farmer name at the top of the four main sheets. There is a cell for entering your server numbers for future reference if needed for game support. There is a link below to the FarmTown Forum.
FarmTown Forum
The previous version had an assets section, this has been replaced with new Farm Info sheet so you can see what you have spent on your farms not including planting costs. The land upgrade section shows how much you have invested in land upgrades.
This now allows for items bought with the new Farm Cash and the additional farm purchase. Other items sold must be deducted from the amount either purchased or received.
If you know your farm id number for either of the farms, enter the number into the appropriate cell and a link to your farm will be displayed on the top right under the external links. If you are logged on with Facebook the link will take you to your farm, if not it will take you to the log on screen.
This feature will not work for Myspace farms, they use a different system for loading applications.
  Inventory Sheet
Inventory creates a record of your farms. this is handy to have in the case of a disaster with your farm data. You will have a record to give to the support team to help restore you farm. You can also see a count of what items you own.
The farm inventory is the most time consuming part of making this workbook complete. However once done it is easy to keep current with regular updates when items are purchased, received, sold, or deleted.
With the ability to have a second farm I have added assignment columns for each farm to track the movement of items and the value of each farm.
If cells turn Red in the Assignment and Total columns you have exceeded the total with farm assignments.
 Crops Planner Sheets
There is a separate sheet for each farm, the name of each farm will be displayed on the top of the sheet. There are planners for the short growth crops and yield calculators field use.
The data now shows the costs and returns for all three types of plowing and harvesting your crops. The fields used cells will let you know if you are over planting for a particular day.
It will also calculate the daily plowing and planting XP and a total for the cycle.
 4 Day Cycle Planners
You can plan a harvest for any or all of the days cycle for crops and trees. The seed cost and selling price (self harvested sold from storage) are shown for reference. There is a separate planner for each farm.
 Costs, Returns, and Summary Tables
These three are tied to each of the crop calculators to display the data related to each farm. Costs shows your costs for each day of the cycle, Returns show your income from crop sales both for self and hired harvest.
The Summary shows a condensed daily breakdown of costs and returns while the costs and returns tables show more detail about the planting  cycle being planned.
 Calculators Sheet
The harvest and earnings calculators have been moved to a separate sheet to allow for better navigation on the crops planners and the calculators more user friendly using the tab and enter keys.
 Harvest Calculator
This can be used to check for proper payment for harvests, or to experiment with different crop mixes.
 Earnings Calculator
I put this together for making harvest trades. You can find the value of your crops and what your are negotiating for side by side to see if the trade is worth making.
I also use this tool for planning a harvest for a new user I am mentoring to find the highest payoff or experience points for them to earn depending upon what their current need is.
 Data Sheet
This sheet holds formulas and data for named ranges and cells used globally. The cells holding values that may need updating as they change in Farm Town i.e. crop selling prices and seed cost are not locked and can be changed as needed.
 Neighbors Sheet
The neighbors sheet allows you to keep track of your neighbors and their status. If you complete the status column for each neighbor it will display
a count of how many neighbors, pending request, and have quit the game.
