Next Update

During the holidays FarmVille was updating so rapidly I could not keep up with it all. I have re-thought and re-designed the Farm Manager to enable faster and easier updates to add the new items without the need of completely reworking your current sheets. I hope to have the new version ready soon.

Version 2.1.2 is Completed

The Farm Manager spreadsheet for FarmVille is now in version 2.1.2. All the new ribbons, items, animals, and crops added as of 10/16/09 are included. I have changed the HTML file to reflect the changes. I have moved some things around and made a couple of new tables. This sheet will allow you to keep track of your farm data, inventory, and plan crops for the best harvest. This is availble for download in a .zip file in Excel version 9 for Office 2000. I may add backwards compatable versions in the future when they slow down on adding new items and features.
The Shutterbug Ribbon has been deleted from the game and a new one Crop Whisperer was added. I only have some of the data for the first ribbon so far, you will need to check the facts page for updates for that table. There is a Crop Mastery table on tthe Data sheet also, the nimbers seem to change daily, I update the table on the crops table when I see confirmed changes, this will need updating as well.
There may be some bugs in the formulas, if you find one please let me know so I can post the fix here. The user sheets are protected without a password to allow for making edits without having to download an updated version just to fix a few bugs. Protecting the sheets keeps the sheet safe from any accidental deleting of formulas or data and also makes navigation much easier using the tab and enter keys.

Bugs and fixes will be posted here with information on how to make the changes. I will update the sheets when new releases to the game are introduced, between updates I will post any new data to be added as it is found, sometime this may take a few days depending on what changes have been made to the game. I will post instructions on how to update your current sheets with the new data and try to make it easy as possible

Download Farm Manager

New crops, animals, buildings, and other items.

They upgraded the game with new items on October 15th. I was just about to release the updates from the earlier upgrade and decided to catch it all up. To upgrade if you have already downloaded an earlier version, download the new version. Open both workbooks and copy/paste your current data into the new sheets.

What's New in Farm Manager

There is a calculator for each of the short growth crops which will calculate how many fields or cycles are needed for the short growth crops.
There is a crop planner for each of the short growth crops which will enter the total number of fields planted for each day into the 4 Day Crop Planner.
The summary table on the calculator sheet now shows how many experience point are earned for plowing and planting the cycle.
All of the newest crops, trees, animals, and items are included in this version.
Costs, returns, and summary tables for the crop planner.
The Farm Value has been changed and will now work with Farm Cash.
A new table for land allows for buying land with coins or farm cash.
Ribbons are now on the Farm Info sheet so you can track what you have.
The Ribbons table and the Neighbors Sheet have been enhanced with conditional formatting to change the colors and font weight.

This is what you can do with the Farm Manager

Keep track of your current coins and Farm Cash.
Track how many coins and Farm Cash you have invested in your farm
Keep track of your experience points.
See how many points you need to reach the next level.
See how many coins you need to upgrade to the next size farm and what you will have left after purchasing the upgrade.
Keep an inventory of your farm. Trees, animals, buildings, and decorations.
Crop calculators for the short growth crops and a four day cycle crop planner.
The crop planner will let you know how many fields are available for planting on each day.
There are tables showing costs, projected returns from the crops, and a summary table with the data.

Farm Manager Basics

The only values required for the crop planner to work are the current coins available on each day for plowing and planting, and how many fields your farm has. Farm Manager does not connect to the Farm Town data information you do need to manually enter the data and keep it up to date.

To fully use the workbook you should inventory your farm. Once you get the first count it is easy to keep track by updating the data when you add or delete items. Here is how I go about getting a count. First I make a list of all the items then start with the trees first. I mark the list using the old concept of 4 marks and a slash to make 5.

Counting fields can make your eyes tired for sure. I placed hay bales spaced 10 fields apart along the back and 5 down the side made the count much easier.

Adding your farm size, level, experience points, current coins, farm cash, and fields will enable the formulas for tracking to work. Be sure to update these as they change, I do mine at least once a day.

I added the farm value just to give it a little realism. I used a hypothetical average to calculate the value of farm cash to coins. The other farm items are valued at the resale price.

If you are having problems, have questions not answered here, or find any bugs in the formulas you can use the form below to send them to me. If you want a reply add your email address otherwise that field is optional. I am open to suggestions for any way to improve this workbook so any ideas you may have let me know.

It seems the sendmail program is broken once again. I have not been getting email from the forms using that program so I have disabled the function until it gets fixed again.
