Version 4.1.2 is Completed
This new version of Farm Manager is designed to be updated regularly by adding the new items to the sheets as opposed to downloading a new version each time. Updates will be posted weekly in an Excel file so that it may either be opened directly or downloaded and used later using the option you should get from your browser.
The Farm Manager is available in three ways they are stand alone workbooks, the complete workbook, the Farm Manager Inventory and farm data only, and the Harvest Planner only. For those who are not comfortable with editing spreadsheets the separate Harvest Planner may work the best, this is the only one which should need rows added to the Planner sheet. For those who do not want the Harvest Planner that section is now available without the Planners. These are available for download in a .zip file with a brief tutorial in MS Word included. The tutorial may also be viewed online Farm Manager Tutorial. There is also a brief on how to update the Farm Manager written with the new unreleased HTML 5.0 which most new major browsers support. How To Update Farm Manager, if your browser does not support this there is a link provided on the page for the standard version of HTML or it can be viewed directly here How To Update Farm Manager v2.
This copy of the Farm Manager is complete with all the data available as of July 25, 2010. I upload the updated workbooks weekly along with the updates so a current version can be downloaded for new users.
Those who have a version before July 25th. will need to update their workboook. There is a link to the update below.
I have compiled all the farm data found so far on one sheet in HTML for viewing. This can also be used to make some but not all updates by manually adding the new data located at the bottom of each table That can be viewed using this link FarmVille Data Sheet.
Bugs and fixes will be posted here with information on how to make the changes. I will update the sheets when new releases to the game are introduced, between updates I will post any new data to be added as it is found, sometime this may take a few days depending on what changes have been made to the game. I will post instructions on how to update your current sheets with the new data and try to make it easy as possible

Bugs & Fixes
Some of the cells that need to be updated in the Farm Manager workbook without the Harvest Planners were left locked and can not be updated without first Unprotecting the sheets. There are two ways to get around this problem. The best way is to Unprotect the sheets and unlock the cell ranges listed below then Protect the sheets and save the workbook and make the updates.
The other way is to Unprotect the sheets, make the updates, Protect the sheets, and save the workbook. This is the more simple way however you will need to do this for each update. The choice is which one will work best for you.
This is only needed for workbooks downloaded before the first update was posted. Workbooks downloaded after that point will not need anything fixed. Those workbooks will have an Update date stamp on the FarmInfo sheet on the top left, if yours does not have the date stamp you will need to make the changes.
The cell ranges listed below are the ones which need to be Unlocked to allow updates to be made without Unprotecting the sheets. To do this Unprotect the sheet, select the range, and unlock the cells.
To Unprotect the sheet choose the Protection option from the Tools Menu then choose Unprotect Sheet, to Protect the sheet when done use the same method the option will change to Protect Sheet. A dialogue box will appear with the option to Password Protect the sheet, this is not necessary unless you want to. You can click OK without entering a Password and be done.
To select the range left click on the first cell then scroll down and over to the last cell, hold the Shift Key then left click the last cell. The range will become hilighted with a border around it.
To Unlock the cells you need to choose the Cells option from the Format Menu. You can use the Menu on the top of the sheet, Right click the mouse to Pop Up the Shortcut Menu and choose Format Cells, or the Hot Key Combination of the Ctrl Key and the Number 1 Key on the keyboard (press both keys at the same time) which will bring up the Format Cells Box.
Select the Protection Tab on the box then uncheck Locked and click the OK Button. If the background of the Check Mark is Gray you will need to click the box twice to clear the Locked mode for the cells. The next time you open the menu the last tab you used will be visable.
Below is the list of ranges which need the cells unlocked for editing.
GameData sheet cells BF 47 to BK 261 which is the Co-op Farming Tasks table.
FarmData sheet every table needs to have cells unlocked.
Cells A 45 to F 510
Cells O 128 to T 510
Cells AC 116 to AH 510
Cells AQ 109 to AV 510
Cells BE 367 to BJ 510
Cells BS 24 to BX 110
Cells BS 152 to BX 191
Cells CG 45 to CL 114
This may appear to be a lot of work however it should take less than 15 minutes to complete. Remember to Protect the sheets and save the workbook. Most updates will now be able to be made without unprotecting the sheets on this workbook.
Farm Manager Tips
The only values required for the harvest planner to work are the current coins available on each day for plowing and planting, and how many fields your farm has. Farm Manager does not connect to the Farm Town data information you do need to manually enter the data and keep it up to date.
To fully use the complete workbook you should inventory your farm. Once you get the first count it is easy to keep track by updating the data when you add or delete items. Here is how I go about getting a count. First I make a list of all the items then start with the trees first. I mark the list using the old concept of 4 marks and a slash to make 5.
Counting fields can make your eyes tired for sure. I placed hay bales spaced 10 fields apart along the back and 5 down the side made the count much easier.
Adding your land expansion costs, level, experience points, current coins, farm cash, and fields will enable the formulas for tracking to work. Be sure to update these as they change, I do mine at least once a day.
If you are having problems, have questions not answered here or on the tutorials, find any bugs in the formulas you can use the form below to send them to me. If you want a reply add your email address otherwise that field is optional. I am open to suggestions for any way to improve this workbook so any ideas you may have let me know.
