The sheet is protected without a password and can be unprotected to make any other changes necessary. To be safe you should protect the sheet when done making changes to avoid corrupting the data or formulas. Bugs found in the data or formulas will be posted on the Farm Manager download page with the necessary fixes. You will need to unprotect the sheet to make those changes.
